Blogdesk is quite an impressive tool created by Johannes Oppermann, it’s been around fro some time now but maybe there’s still a few bloggers out there that have never heard of it.

What Is Blogdesk?

Blogdesk is an offline weblog client that lets you comfortably write and effortlessly publish new entries to your blog. With the ImageWizard feature that’s available in Blogdesk you can not only insert images to your posts but it’s also possible to edit them as well (crop, resize, rotate, shadow etc.,). Even Thumbnails can be created - the preview will be shown in the blog and a click on the image will open it in its original size. Linking and uploading those images is automatically done by BlogDesk.

What’s the advantage of using BlogDesk?

* The simple interface is suitable even for unexperienced users.
* Intuitive WYSIWYG Editor instead of complicated HTML Tags. Of course you can edit the tags if you prefer to.
* Easy image inserting and editing. The files are uploaded by BlogDesk, no extra work is needed.

* Everything can be done offline and saved for later editing. You only have to be online a few seconds to finally publish your new weblog entry.

* Features like Notebook, Frequently-Used-Phrases and the Technorati-Tags-Generator relieve you from time wasting and recurring tasks.
* Publish to multiple weblogs on different servers with one click.
* Default settings can be saved as templates.
* Keep local copies of your posts.
