Not too long ago all the craze was about BlogRush, i’m using it on my blog as you can see on the sidebar but as far as i’m concerned it really isn’t a ‘traffic generator’ as some have claimed, but i’m giving it time as it’s still pretty new.
The hot topic for bloggers right now though is WidgetBucks, yet another way for bloggers to earn some cash, at first glance it reminded me of Chitika’s eMiniMalls but that’s a different story altogether.
One of the good thing i like about WidgetBucks is that it operates on a CPC model which simply means that you earn cash everytime someone clicks on an ad, they don’t even have to purchase anything at all, just click it.Another good thing about it is that you’ll get $25 just for signing up as a signup bonus and the minimum payout is when you’ve earn $50, that should not be a hard task to acheive since you already have $25 just for signing up.
At the moment of this post the only method of payment is via check which i personally do not like, i always prefer PayPal but that’s just me. ** Paypal is accepted
WidgetBucks looks like a real good option for product oriented blog or technology/photography blogs and i think i’m going to make some nice amount of $$ by implementing the ads on my Flickr Photo Site.
Currently there’s only 5 option of ads sizes but i expect that to be changed soon enough.
Here’s a preview of what the ad would look like (it’s pretty animated):

What a great find. I think there is too much reliance on Google Adsense.
While I find it generates a good income on some sites, it is too easy to rely on it because it’s so easy to implement, so this alternative is a welcome additional item.
It seems many people have had their Google accounts shut down and they are sure they didn’t break any rules. This sudden cessation of income could be disastrous. Anybody who wants to make a living online needs to diversify their loyalty so as to spread their risk.
Good article, good site.
